In this episode: Big secrets are revealed! We still don’t know about what really happened between Casshern and Luna when he was sent to kill her, but a lot of other interesting facts were brought to the table.
1. The guy following Casshern around in the early episodes was Braiking Boss, though I’d already figured this. This guy has really fallen from grace. He has no dominion, and he’s slowly rusting just like everyone else.
2. Casshern is apparently programmed to obey BB’s orders, as he starts going a little crazy when his boss repeats the order “Kill Luna” in a scene where I was 99% sure he was going to kill Ringo. Thankfully he didn’t because it would have ruined my day.
3. Oji is the man who created Casshern, Dio and Luna as robots who could create new life through some sort of sexual reproduction (robot sex!), but they were deemed failures and ended up being used as killing machines. Casshern’s immortality wasn’t part of it, and he must have gotten it from Luna, which is still the big question on my mind. She may have given him eternal life because she realized he wasn’t killing her of his own volition and figured he could make the world a better place or something sappy like that.
4. Ringo is human! Maybe! She bleeds, that’s for certain, but as Lyuze pointed out, she also rusts. What does it mean? Oji clearly didn’t want her out in the rain and seemed concerned about her rusting, but if she bleeds too, then what exactly is she? The product of Oji’s experiments with Casshern, Dio and Leda?
New ED this week. Very western-ish. I liked the old one better.

I liked the old ED better too, but this new ED is not that new, it has been played as an insert song at least twice during the series so far.
Braiking Boss was figured out since last episode when they showed Margo’s flashback to the time of Braiking. Oji being the scientist that created Casshern was a surprise.
Ringo bleeding might mean she is indeed the so-called success of Oji, or at least, the last of his experiments. Maybe if she fully rusts away, she will become the robot or human that Oji always wanted to make come true, the ideal that Casshern, Dio and Leda could not fulfil.
I think you missed the most important thing – Ringo was there at the time Luna was killed by Casshern and she was also telling him it was not his fault. There is more to the killing than meets the eye, but we already knew that. What was surprising was Ringo was there.
