It was a good day for Pizza, or at least that’s what C.C. believed. She may have lost her memories, and this new master may be quite frightening, but if there was one thing she knew, it was that she wanted pizza. The day before, one of the little people inside the talking box (Master called it a TV, if she remembered correctly) had mentioned that it was possible to make one’s own pizza, and when master noticed the glimmer in her eyes, he set right about pressing buttons on a banana of some sort (He called it a phone, telling her not to eat it) and ordered a pizza stone on which one could be baked. Today it arrived in a box and master was already making the preparations for dinner. He rolled the dough out with a smile on his face, when suddenly everything went dark.

“What the hell is this!” he exclaimed with a rage that C.C. knew all to well. She cowered in fear at the thought of another injury, and a lack of understanding of the situation. There was a loud crash as master stumbled across the room. He immediately began poking frantically at the banana before putting it up to his ear. Soon afterwards, a voice emanated from the device:

“This is Brittania Power Company, #1 in customer satisfaction. If you need assistance, our special customer service representatives will come to you as quickly as possible. Our competitors’ range of service is limited, only sending their people out to the closer colonies such as Areas 5 and 6, but ours go all the way to 11. How can I help you?”
As master explained the situation to the talking banana, C.C. heard her stomach grumble. She did not know how long she could hold out in this situation. Her desire for the now unattainable pizza brought tears to her eyes. Her quiet sobs awoke a new fire inside of her master, and he began screaming insults and a final death threat before dropping the banana and storming out of the room. C.C. crawled over to the bed and curled up in the sheets as she anxiously awaited his return. Only 20 minutes passed before the lights came on again, and another 10 before master returned covered in sweat and blood, laughing maniacally. Knowing master, he had probably fixed the power himself after killing the representative and destroying half the city. Master had an awful temper. But alas!!! Their joy was short-lived, for the crash that she heard when the power went out was in fact the pizza stone! It had fallen to the floor, and the dough was everywhere. Seeing the mess and realizing the hopelessness of the situation, master dialed the local Pizza Hut. Nobody answered. “That’s strange,” mumbled her master.

After another failed attempt, he decided to call the operator.
“Operator”
“Yes”
“I’d like to order a pizza”
“W…well”
“I couldn’t contact Pizza Hut.”
“I’m sorry sir, but there’s been an attack on the city.”
“I’m not talking about that. I just want to order a pizza.”
“But Pizza Hut is gone…It’s gone, sir!”

“Hey Operator, just this once, I’d like to order a pizza…”
THE END
Heh, I enjoyed doing this one. Expect a post on Kaiba and Hakaba Kitaro later tonight.
