I’m much more satisfied with the filler this season, probably because I’m less satisfied with the plot that it deviates from. Upon watching this episode a second time, I’m finding more and more of it to be rather hilarious in its own right.

Shirley’s jealousy throughout the episode was the main point of amusement for me, but I actually started to like her character by the time the episode was over. Roro’s indignation over Sayoko’s behavior was funny as well, mainly because I’d like to believe that Sayoko is somewhat aware of how much trouble she’s causing. I also found Miya to be quite cute, and I really pitied her when she was Geassed to give Lulu’s hat back after she won the Cupid game.

Does Japan use an equivalent of “coming out of the closet” to refer to admitting homosexuality? Either way, the pandering here is somewhat sad. Speaking of sad, the Knights of the Round appear to all be crazy, stupid, or both. The Knight of One is the only decent person among them as far as I can tell. Even worse is the newest royalty we meet, some fugly stuck-up princess. Brittania…what a shitty place to live.
Other things of note:

HELL YES

Blue?? I think we all know what color his eye should have been. Way to fuck things up.

Not sure whether I’m happy or not with her career choice, but I feel for Lloyd.
What with Cornelia’s return and Orange’s newfound powers, the potential for turning things around and making this show good again has risen significantly. Whether they’ll actually try to improve things is up in the air.

Well, he could be a little hotter XD
Eye stitches are totally “in” right now.
Dunno about Lloyd. Maybe he’ll get as much out of seeing Milly regularly on TV as he would have gotten out of being married to her.
