I went into my local comic store with every intention of laying down 30-60 dollars on the first few volumes of Wounded Man, and after reading the scene where the main character has a woman piss in his eyes to clear them of blood so that he can hit some guy with the tree (yes, the whole tree) to which the woman is tied, naked, I was ready to make the purchase. But I didn’t want to go to the cashier just yet, so I browsed around and found 2 voulmes of Robot. I reluctantly set Wounded Man back on the shelf, picked these up, and went to the register only to find another volume in its plastic sitting there, so I ended up blowing $100. But by god it was worth it.
It’s been around 9 months since I started spending money on anime related crap, and the picture above (click for larger version) is most of what I’ve purchased (plus some stuff I bought before I had any sense of what was good and what wasn’t). Since most of the anime I buy is stuff I’ve already seen subbed (Giant Robo, Cromartie and Char’s Counterattack are the exceptions), I’m rarely disappointed by a purchase. Other than some shit manga I bought in high school and the Hayate manga, I believe my money has been well spent. I’ve got more stuff coming, but apparently Rightstuf doesn’t send you any of your order until they have it all, so I have to wait until Aria comes out in September to get any of the other things I ordered ;_;
I don’t really have much more I want to purchase that’s getting released anytime soon, so hopefully I can start saving for Otakon. I still want Wounded Man, though. They had a few volumes of Lone Wolf and Cub and Crying Freeman as well, but the temptation there isn’t as strong.
Actually, I lied about my satisfaction. Those Gundam Wing models were a total waste of cash :V
Don’t worry, rightstuf will get tired of saving your stuff and ship it out to you within a month. I always pre-order shit to get free shipping and they do it all the time.

on an unrelated note, beefy, in the history of Shows you Need To See, I have never seen one more fit for you than Ippatsu Kikimusume. It’s like Ebichu or Gag Manga and is about a woman trying to escape from varioius crazy situations. If you aren’t convinved yet, one ep had her stuck in a difficult yoga position trying to put out a fire which she ended up doing with condom water balloons.

It’d be better if your poses weren’t complete shit. They’re just, like, standing there. My brother has an assload of Gundam models, each of which he takes between 5-10 minutes to pose before shelving.
