If you were wondering why I faded into obscurity and didn’t post for a week, you can blame Touhou. I still know only the bare minimum about the characters, and I have no idea where to find the good material (music and doujins-preferably those related to Alice :3), but I’ve spent enough time playing Imperishable Night and Perfect Cherry Blossom to know that I want more. Goddamn I love the music for these games. Not to mention how fun they are. After two nights I still can’t beat Normal difficulty, but I imagine that will change soon enough. Anyways, since I don’t feel like bothering people for information, I’ll probably go out looking for more myself over the next few days, and maybe watch some anime while I’m at it, since I haven’t really been doing that at all.
And yeah, I took too long to get into this, but considering this is supposed to be an anime blog, I probably wont talk too much more about it.

As far as Touhou music goes, the best I know of are generally the major ones: IOSYS and ALSTROEMERIA RECORDS. Silver Forest is pretty good, too (pettan pettan tsurupettan). I also like what I’ve heard of UI-70, but that’s pretty much where my knowledge ends. There’s some kind of giant 177 GB lossless Touhou music torrent floating around there somewhere, if you are brave and man enough to devote 177 GB worth of bandwidth and hard drive space to Touhou.

I am already a fan of IOSYS of course, and I’ve heard of Alstroemeria, but I’ll see what I can find on the tubes.
You could also check out stuff like WAVE and TAMUSIC’s Touhou Violin collection if you’re interested in Touhou music. As for doujins, you can find a lot of translated (and relatively wholesome ones) if you know where to look. The TouhouWiki could help you with that.

Gensokyo.org has a large selection of the non-adult doujin for Touhou. I got there from the Touhou wiki, but said wiki has been a bit flakey lately. As for music, IOSYS and WAVE/Morrigan are the only two I’ve heard much of. WAVE’s stuff is awesome.
I got about 250 songs already, from IOSYS, TAMUSIC, Silver Forest, and UI70, plus two soundtracks. I think that’s enough for now. I’ll check out Gensokyo for the doujins, though. Thanks.
