Not enough shows have been subbed to make a Seasonal first impressions post, and nothing I’ve finished recently has interested me enough to talk about it, so I guess I’ll just give my impressions on Lelouch’s much anticipated return. I imagine most of you who saw the first season have already watched it, and if you haven’t, then you really ought to, because the series is far more entertaining then most of what has come out these last few years.
I, like many others, was rather anxious about how they were going to keep from dropping all the energy and momentum that had built up by the end of the first season, and they managed to make things quite interesting, all the while raising more questions and answering practically none. We still don’t know the details of what transpired during this last year, and this first episode accomplished little more than setting a new stage, which is fine by me. But really, this show needs to get serious. Sure, I felt we were in a good place by the end of the episode, but I, after all this series has dragged us through, am in no mood for shenanigans. NO MOOD. I don’t care about what happens in the high school, I don’t even really care about what happened to Nunnally, and I certainly don’t give a shit about Lolo. Just kill that kid off. I’ll tell you what I want. I want to see some ass get kicked, I want to see some minds get fucked, and I want to see Lelouch use his Geass on every damn person he hasn’t Geassed yet. EVERY LAST ONE. I want to see Suzaku get punched in the fucking face every episode. I want to see table corners used in every possible way. I want C.C’s butt to stop getting larger, I want Orange to go even crazier, and I want Kallen to get even nuder. Is nuder a word? It should be. with Brittania. I want some pizza.

Madness?! Yeah, pretty much.
Anyways, the first episode was good, and didn’t have any particular failings. The OP was fine, the ED was…interesting, and all Zero needs to do now is put on his silly outfit and get to business.
Nah. The best parts of Geass are all the fun bits. I don’t care for Lelouch being a badass every single episode, as opposed to him not knowing how to dig a hole.
I’m just fanboying, really. I loved the more laid-back, fun parts of Code Geass, and I certainly wont mind seeing them in season 2, but my point is that I just don’t see the place for them anymore. There’s so much to be done and so many questions to be answered that now, 26 episodes in, I just want things to happen, and Code Geass certainly makes things happen in the most incredible ways. I’m sure after a year of inactivity, the reawakened Zero is itching to do his job, and I’m just as eager to see him do it.
Of course, current circumstances would seem to make the fun high school times of last season an improbability.
Lulu looks like he’s taking it up the butt from futaCC
nuder should definitely be a word, and kallen should definitely become it.
